I’ve been kayaking for about a year now – almost exclusively in Elkhorn Slough (Monterey Bay, California). I ran across a book in Monterey Bay Kayaks montereybaykayaks.com (the wonderful people I rent from) today: Mary The Kayak Lady; One Woman, One Kayak, 1007 Lakes (marythekayaklady.com) – and thought “my book would be: one woman, one kayak, 1007 days on the Slough”.
Still looking for the best format to capture what I want to share – mostly pictures and text at this point. We’ll see if I can figure out this wordpress blog – and if it’s the right venue for me.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the pictures and whatever other content I add. I sure do love being on the Slough.
